Rostra is a connected set of apps for running a K-8 school. The front office, the classrooms, the health office, the technology program and dismissal all work from one roster, and every staff member uses one sign-in.
The apps
Each app handles one area of school life. Schools choose the apps they need, and every app shares the same students, staff and school calendar.

Who Rostra is for
Rostra is designed for K-8 schools of every kind, including public, private, charter and faith-based schools, and for networks of schools that want one system across their buildings. It is especially well suited to schools where a small team covers many responsibilities.
Why one connected system matters
When each task lives in a separate product, the same student list is entered several times, staff keep track of several passwords, and information does not reach the people who need it.
In Rostra, a change made once appears everywhere it applies. When the nurse sends a student home, the teacher's attendance updates. When a new family joins the roster, they can receive the newsletter and be given a carline tag without being entered again.
How we treat student information
Students never sign in to Rostra. The core student record holds only a name, a grade, a homeroom and a way to reach a guardian, and each app adds information only after your school turns it on.
Health records are protected on the server and visible only to the people your administrators authorize. Nothing is sold, nothing is used to train a model, and your records belong to your school.
Who builds Rostra
Rostra is built by a small team that works alongside school staff. Each feature begins with the everyday work of principals, office staff, teachers, nurses and technology coordinators, and it is refined with the people who use it.
